Monday the 15th of July will be the three year anniversary of Kurtis Scott’s sudden passing at the age of ten. 

 

He had been a Maroochy Juniors U8 and U10s player for 3 years and absolutely loved his footy.  He loved being part of the Roos and made some incredible friendships with his teammates, coaches and their families. 

 

He had a big, gorgeous, beaming smile, and a friendly hello for everyone. Kurtis’ younger brother Henderson is in his 4th year this year playing U11.5s with the club also.  

 

To honour his memory, this weekends games for all under 13.5 games and at the footy for fun carnival on the 14th of July for the U8.5s, U9.5s, and U11.5s the kids will be supplied by their coaches/managers a green and gold arm band with some teams also holding a minute’s silence before the carnival starts. 

 

It means so much to the Scott’s, their families and friends and we know Kurtis would be beyond thrilled that he is on the minds, and in the hearts, of so many. 

 

The Scotts are so proud of their gorgeous Kurtis and so grateful to the Roos for keeping his precious memory alive.
